IBC South Penn, Oklahoma City, OK
A corner lot was purchased within an existing shopping center development that already had an established architectural style that must be replicated to remain consistent with the surrounding site context. As a result, Architectura SA was given the task to design a new resilient branch location that would replicate the French-Tudor style already present.
As one of the major benefits of utilizing insulated concrete forms (ICF), the ease of which ICF Design can be easily modified into any custom shape made it very practical to construct the desired unique shape for the corner façade while still capitalizing on the energy efficiency benefits of ICF construction. The end result is a top-quality, tornado resilient, energy-efficient branch location for IBC Bank that features the corner of the shopping center as the new focal point.
